Tulsa Men's Tennis Team Ends Regular Season at Home

Tulsa, Okla. - The No. 47-ranked University of Tulsa men's tennis team looks to end the regular season on a high note as it faces on in-state rival No. 14 Oklahoma State. The match will be Wednesday, April 13 at 5:30 p.m. at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center. The match will air live on Cox Channel 3 with John Holcomb and Paige McMurray calling the action.
Tulsa has a 9-6 record at the Case Center. Oklahoma State is ranked 14th and is 15-5 overall and 4-2 in the Big 12. The Cowboys have two ranked singles players, No. 35 Mark Van Elden and No. 123 Tomas Bohunicky.
Tulsa is currently 14-9 on the season. Senior Achim Roth, who transferred to Tulsa from Armstrong Atlantic State at the beginning of the 2004-05 season, will take the court at home for the final time as a Hurricane. Roth is 14-21 in singles play and 20-15 in doubles.
