Tulsa Women Struggle at the NCAA Championships

Sunriver, Oregon - Tulsa Struggles at the NCAA Championships Final Round is on Friday Sunriver, Oregon - The Tulsa women's golf team carded a third round score of 310 at the NCAA Women's Golf National Championships. The Hurricane sits in 23rd place with a 930 total after the first 54 holes of the 72-hole tournament at the par 71 Meadows Golf Course at the Sunriver Resort.

Duke jumped into the lead after the third round with a six-under par 278 on Thursday. Duke has an 873 total heading into Friday's final round, eight strokes ahead of second-place Auburn (881). UCLA is in third place (882), followed by Pepperdine (885) and California (890).

Arkansas sits in sixth place with an 896 total, while Oklahoma State is in 13th place with a 903 total.

Tulsa senior Lee-Anne Pace had the best round of the day for the Hurricane with a three-over par 74, and sits in 80th place with a 231 total. Freshman Polly Travica had the next best round for Tulsa with a 76, while fellow freshman Leisl Hasbrouck had a round of 78 and has a 232 total for 87th place. Travica totals 236 for 54 holes and sits in 104th place overall.

Junior Cas Bridge turned in an 82 on Thursday for a 237 total, while freshman Michaela Cavener struggled with a score of 84 today for a 241 score. Bridge in in 110th place and Cavener sits in 119th place overall. The tournament will conclude on Friday with the final 18 holes.
