Tulsa to Host Conference USA Men's Soccer Championship

The University of Tulsa will host the 2006 Conference USA Men's Soccer Championship, Wednesday-Sunday, November 1-5, at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium on the TU campus.

The University of Tulsa will host the 2006 Conference USA Men's Soccer Championship, Wednesday-Sunday, November 1-5, at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium on the TU campus.

Three teams from C-USA are currently ranked in one of the four college soccer polls, including top-ranked SMU, 11th-ranked South Carolina and 17th-ranked Kentucky, while Memphis and UAB are receiving votes. Tulsa, along with SMU, South Carolina and Kentucky have already clinched a berth to the Championship. UAB, Memphis, Florida International, UCF and Marshall are competing for the final four spots in the tournament. A complete bracket will be announced on October 30th.

Tulsa will conclude regular season action this week, as the Golden Hurricane hosts 17th-ranked Kentucky on Wednesday, October 25th, and 11th-ranked South Carolina on Saturday, October 28th. Both games are set to begin at 7:05 p.m.

Tickets for the Championship are on sale now and can be purchased online at TulsaHurricane.com or by calling the TU Ticket Office at 918.631.GoTU (4688). Individual session tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for youth and seniors, and $5 for students. All-session and group rates are available.
