Tulsa Women Golfers Named to All-Conference USA Teams

Sophomore Michaela Cavener earned first-team all-conference honors.

Irving, Texas - University of Tulsa sophomore golfers Michaela Cavener and Leisl Hasbrouck were named to the Conference USA all-league team today as announced by the league office.

Cavener was a first-team selection, while Hasbrouck earned second-team merits.

Cavener, who earlier in the day placed sixth at the Conference USA Championships, has finished among the top-20 in eight of nine tournaments this year. Her best finish was fourth-place at The "Mo" Morial, while she has also turned in two sixth-place performances.

The sophomore from Ponca City, Okla., has a team-leading 75.0 stroke average.

Hasbrouck, from Kingwood, Texas, has tallied a 76.7 stroke average in 27 rounds this year. She has placed among the top-25 in five tournaments this season, including a career-best second-place finish at The Landfall Tradition.
