Houston, Texas - The University of Tulsa's Diego Camacho and Ross Cunningham used an 8-5 win over Danny Bryan and Kevin Dessauer from LSU to win the "A" Flight doubles final at the Courtyard by Marriott Rice Invitational in Houston, Texas.
All three TU doubles teams picked up wins on the final day of the competition with Will Gray and Andy Connelly grabbing an 8-4 win, while Lucques Maasdorp and Olof Sjolund took an 8-3 win.
In singles competition Camacho defeated David Kuczer from SMU in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4. Gray also picked up a win, defeating Jan Zelezny from LSU by scores of 5-7, 7-5 and 6-1. Cunningham picked up the final win for the Golden Hurricane on Sunday with a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Daniel Gonzales of SMU.
TU's men's tennis team will be back in action on September 23 and 24 when it travels to Waco, Texas, for the Baylor Invitational.
