TU Men's Soccer Team Hosts Centenary on Tuesday

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's soccer team will play host to Centenary on Tuesday, September 26th beginning at 7:05 p.m. at the Hurricane Soccer and Track Stadium on the TU campus. Tulsa has a 3-1-1 advantage in the series with the Gents, picking up a 1-0 win in the last meeting in 1997. Admission is $6 for adults and $4 for children.
The Golden Hurricane owns a 3-5 record this year, including a 2-1 Conference USA victory over UCF on September 23rd. Tulsa will be led by junior midfielder Eric Burkholder, who is the top scorer for TU this season with six points, and has recorded goals against Wisconsin-Milwaukee, ninth-ranked Indiana and UCF. Freshman midfielder Jose Parada and sophomore midfielder Eric DeFreitas have tallied four points apiece.
The Gents have posted a 2-7 mark this season, including a 4-2 victory over Valparaiso in their last match.
The TU-Centenary game will be broadcasted live via the internet on www.TulsaHurricane.com, and can be heard by accessing the schedule button on the men's soccer home page. The audio broadcasts have a minimal monthly ($6.95) or yearly ($49.95) fee. The yearly fee includes all live audio broadcasts of TU sports, including men's and women's soccer, men's and women's basketball, football, softball and volleyball.
