Tulsa's Burkholder Named to Conference USA All-Academic Team

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa men's soccer player senior Eric Burkholder was named to the Conference USA Men's Soccer All-Academic Team, as announced today by the league. Burkholder also earned C-USA Men's Soccer All-Academic Team accolades as a junior.
Burkholder maintains a 3.96 GPA in finance, while serving as a key player on the team. This season, he has started all 16 games, and has registered two goals and eight assists for 12 points, leading all C-USA players in assists. He picked up ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VI accolades earlier this season, and is eligible for ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors.
Throughout his career, Burkholder has started 58 of 79 games played, and tallied 10 goals and 24 assists for 44 points.
Twelve student-athletes were named to the team, representing eight C-USA schools. The student-athletes must have earned a 3.2 cumulative grade point average or better and are a starter or key reserve on the men's soccer team.
