Fayetteville, Ark. - Chanel Johnson and Kara Vaughan each tallied 10 points for Tulsa, but the Golden Hurricane dropped a 69-52 decision to Arkansas on Tuesday night at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville, Ark. TU fell to 0-4 on the season, while the Lady Razorback moved to 4-0.
Defensively, Larrissa Williams pulled down a team-best eight rebounds, while registering nine points, three assists and one block. Tatum Beer also posted three assists and a team-best two steals, while Johnson posted a block and a steal. ReShawndra Jackson registered nine points in the contest.
For the Lady Razorbacks, Lauren Ervin earned a team-leading 13 points and seven rebounds, while Whitney Jones and Shanita Arnold also recorded 12 and 11 points, respectively.
Tulsa will return to action on Friday, Nov. 23 against Sam Houston State in the Holiday Inn Select Thanksgiving Tournament hosted by TU at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m. and follows the Troy-Western Illinois game.
