Tulsa to Host Arkansas-Little Rock on Wednesday

Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's basketball team will host Arkansas-Little Rock on Wednesday, Nov. 28 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on the TU campus.

TU (1-5) and UALR (3-2) have met just three times in school history, with the Trojans owning a 2-1 advantage in the series. The Golden Hurricane, however, won the last battle, a 77-50 decision in 2001 in Tulsa.

Sophomore Teka Brooks and junior Chanel Johnson lead the Golden Hurricane attack with 10.2 and 10.0 points per game, respectively, this season. On the defensive side of the ball, Larrissa Williams pulls down a team-best 9.0 rebounds per game, while Johnson owns 20 blocks and freshman Tatum Beer has recorded 12 steals.

The Trojans return seven letterwinners, including three starters from last season's 21-10 team. This season, UALR owns a 3-2 record and is coming to town after tallying a 68-55 win over Missouri State in their last contest. Kim Sitzmann and Nikya Hughes lead the Trojans with 16.8 and 14.2 points per game, respectively, while Hughes owns a team-best 8.0 rebounds per game.
