Tulsa, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's basketball team posted a 71-55 win over the OK Flyers on Saturday afternoon in an exhibition game at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

Junior forward Chanel Johnson led the Golden Hurricane with 23 points, while freshman Tatum Beer added 11 points and classmate Kensey Hall recorded 10 points in the contest. Beer dished out a team-best five assists, while sophomore Destanie Gardner posted four steals and Johnson registered two blocks. Sophomore Larrissa Williams pulled down 10 rebounds, while Johnson was one rebound shy of a double-double with nine boards.

The Golden Hurricane led by as many as 23 points, after taking the lead for good at the 13:29 mark in the first half off a basket by Williams.

Former Tulsa standout Emily Jaskowiak led the Flyers on both sides of the ball, posting 10 points and nine rebounds before fouling out of the contest with only 26 seconds left in the second half.

TU returns to the court on Tuesday, Nov. 6 to take on Cameron in the final exhibition game of the season.
