Tulsa's Cavener Earns Player of the Week Honor

Michaela Cavener finished in a seventh place tie at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in a field of 96 golfers.

Irving, Texas - University of Tulsa senior golfer Michaela Cavener was named the Conference USA Golf Athlete of the Week today, it was announced by the league office.

Cavener finished in a seventh place tie at the Ron Moore Intercollegiate in a field of 96 golfers. She carded rounds of 76-72-73 for a five-over par 221 score. Her efforts helped the Golden Hurricane to a fifth place finish out of 18 teams.

This is the third career weekly honor for the two-time All-Conference USA performer.
