A little over 16 minutes into the second half, senior forward Todd Goddard tied the game off a long pass from senior Eric Burkholder. Burkholder then put TU on top in the 75th minute after picking off a CU pass, and in the 87th minute, sophomore Daniel Dittus slid a pass to Goddard who tapped in a goal from inside the box.

"I am very proud of these guys," Head Coach Tom McIntosh said. "We stayed focused, stayed in control of ourselves and stuck to the game plan. We knew going in that we could cause problems for Creighton and create scoring opportunities if we were diligent. There were a lot of things going against us, but we persevered and fought through it for the win."

Goddard now boasts six goals on the season in seven contests, while Burkholder registered his first goal of the season and fifth assist. Senior Dominic Cervi tallied six saves in goal for 30 this year and 156 throughout his career.
