Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's basketball team returns home after a three-game road swing to host Tulane on Thursday, Jan. 31st. Game time is set for 7:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center.

The Golden Hurricane owns an 8-11 overall record and a 4-2 mark in Conference USA, and is coming off a 70-68 victory over SMU last week. Tulsa ranks first among all C-USA schools in blocked shots, tallying 120 blocks for a 6.32 average per game, and is third in field goal percentage defense, holding its opponents to just 38.0-percent.

Individually for TU, Chanel Johnson leads the league with 58 blocks, while Kara Vaughan is second with a .429 3-point field goal percentage. Larrissa Williams is third among the league's best with 9.6 rpg, while Tatum Beer is fourth with 2.05 3-point field goals made per game.

The Green Wave has recorded an 11-8 mark on the season and a 1-5 record in league play, and enters the contest with a five-game losing streak. Tulane is led by Brittany Lindsey and Ashley Langford who post 11.2 and 10.2 ppg, respectively. Lindsey also owns a team-best 27 blocks, while Langford has registered 103 assists and 26 steals, and Alendra Brown tallies a team-best 6.5 rpg.

The Golden Hurricane and Green Wave will face off for the sixth time in school history, as Tulane leads the all-time series 3-2. The Green Wave won both of last season's contests, including a 78-70 victory in the final 2007 regular season game to win the C-USA title.
