Tulsa, Oklahoma - After an impressive second-place finish at the Topy Cup in Tanagura, Japan The University of Tulsa Women's Golf Team has jumped into the top-10 of two major polls. This week the TU women are ranked 4th in the Golfweek poll and 10th by Golfstat.

This is the highest the Golden Hurricane has been ranked since finishing the 2002 season ranked third nationally.

"The entire team has worked very hard to get to this point." said Head Coach Randy Keck. "A year and a half ago we were not ranked, but the girls have worked extremely hard and I am very proud of them and excited for the team that we are ranked this high. This is a good start but we still have a lot of work to do."
