Tulsa Closes Out Home Season on Saturday against UCF

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Three Tulsa basketball seniors - Rod Earls, Brett McDade and Calvin Walls - will play in their final game at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Saturday night against the UCF Knights. Game time is scheduled for 7:05 pm.
The seniors will be recognized on the court approximately 15 minutes prior to tip-off.
Tulsa (16-12, 7-8 C-USA) is coming off of a 14-point loss at C-USA's second-place UAB on Wednesday night. UCF, 16-13 on the year and 9-6 in league action, lost a five-point decision at Houston on Wednesday.
The series is tied at 3-3 as each team has won on their own home court. Tulsa won the first two games in the series, while UCF won the next two contests. In the first game between the two teams as members of Conference USA, UCF won at home by a 45-44 score on Jan. 21, 2006. The last two contests have gone into overtime, including a 66-64 Tulsa win last year, and a three-overtime 97-91 UCF win in Orlando earlier this season.
Tulsa has posted a 12-2 home record this year, and has won six straight games on the Reynolds Center floor. UCF has posted a 3-4 record in C-USA road games.
The Knights have three double-digit scorers and are led by junior Jermaine Taylor's 21 points per game. Seniors Dave Noel and Mike O'Donnell average 12.9 and 11.9 points, respectively.
Tulsa sophomore Ben Uzoh leads the Hurricane with a 15.1 scoring average, while reserve freshman Glenn Andrews averages 10.0 points per game. Junior Ray Reese has averaged 20.3 points in the last three games, while shooting 65-percent from the field and 71-percent from three-point range.
