Head Coach Doug Wojcik
Opening statement...
"Loyola Marymount is going to win a lot of games. I think they are a good team, and Drew Viney is a very good player. It was a hard-fought game with a good first half for us to get out to a 17-point lead. They had an eight-point deficit at USC on Saturday and came back and won by eight. So we knew that they weren't going to quit. They are a very good team and they are going to do well."

"In regards to my team, I'm really happy for Ben Uzoh who had a double-double. He really deserves it, he made his shots including all three three-pointers. Certainly, the record for Jerome who became the all-time shot block leader here is a great accomplishment. Then Joe Richard who continues to be this great spark plug for the team, and Bishop's presence is good."

On Joe Richard's play...
"He's a really confident kid, and it's amazing how confidence can go a long way. He's really alert at practice, school is going really well for him and I couldn't be prouder of him. With that, we are the benefactors. We are getting great minutes, great points and he's going to the glass and getting rebounds."

On Jerome breaking the all-time shot blocks record...
"I've never anticipated that. I never really thought of him in those terms at first, but he came on so much at the end of that freshman year. He was still kind of an unknown during his sophomore year, so not as much revolved around him. I didn't anticipate him breaking it tonight because I didn't think that he would get six.

"I'm really happy for him, but he just one of those guys who just moves along. I'd like for him to be a little bit more like Steven [Idlet] but I can't get him too high or too low. In a sense that's a good thing."
