Tulsa and Houston Battle at the Reynolds Center on Wednesday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - A clash for sole possession of third-place in Conference USA will take place at the Donald W. Reynolds Center on Wednesday night as the Tulsa Golden Hurricane hosts the Houston Cougars with a 7:05 p.m. tip-off.
Tulsa has na overall 18-9 mark and Houston is 17-8 on the season, while both school's have an identical 8-4 C-USA mark.
Houston brings in one of the league's top offenses, scoring 78.4 points per game, while the Hurricane ranks second in scoring defense by allowing its' opponents just 60.9 points per contest.
The Cougars are led by a pair of high-scoring juniors in the likes of Aubrey Coleman and Kelvin Lewis. Coleman averages 20.3 points, while Lewis cores at a clip of 18.3 points. In addition, Marcus Cousin averages 11.9 points and a team-high 9.0 rebounds.
The Hurricane is led by the inside-outside duo of juniors Ben Uzoh and Jerome Jordan. The 6'3" Uzoh averages a team-leading 14.6 points, while adding 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. The seven-foot Jordan scored at a 14.1 clip and also averages team-highs of 8.8 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots.
Tulsa has also seen sophomore Justin Hurtt come on strong lately, as the 6'4" guard has scored in double-figures in eight of the last nine games while averaging 14.1 points in the last nine contests.
The last time the two teams met came in the semifinals of the College Basketball Invitational post-season tournament last year, as the Hurricane captured a 73-69 victory in a hard-fought contest.
