FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. - The four members of The University of Tulsa men's tennis team who are competing this weekend posted an unblemished 6-0 mark on Day One of the 2010 RazorRacket Classic Friday at Billingsley Tennis Center.
All matches for Tulsa were against University of Missouri-Kansas City. Sophomore Tristan Jackson defeated Serge Ristivojevic 6-3, 6-2 to open Flight 1 Singles action. He and junior teammate Patrick Collins took down Zach Alholm and Nick Hays 8-4 in Flight 2 Doubles.
Collins defeated Alholm 4-6, 6-1, 6-1 in Flight 3 Singles.
Sophomore Alastair Barnes defeated Abdul Alawadhi 6-2, 7-5 in Flight 2 Singles. He and junior teammate Rusty Turpin tripped up Ristivojevic and Alawadhi 8-5 in Flight 1 Doubles.
Turpin defeated Hays 6-3, 6-3 in Flight 4 Singles.
All four members of the Golden Hurricane will be in action Saturday.
