Tulsa Hosts UCF in Final Regular-Season Home Game

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's basketball team will close out the regular-season home schedule on Saturday, Feb. 27 against UCF. Game time is set for 2:00 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $8 for reserved seating, $6 for general admission and $4 for youth.
Prior to the contest, the Golden Hurricane will honor seniors Teka Brooks, Adria Phillips and Larrissa Williams. The senior trio has been a part of 41 career victories, including double-figure wins as freshmen, sophomores and seniors, and have played in a combined 273 games and earned 132 starting assignments.
The Golden Hurricane enters the contest with a 12-13 overall record and a 6-8 mark in Conference USA. TU also has a five-game winning streak, and has won six of its last seven contests. Williams is leading Tulsa with 17.4 ppg and 9.1 rebounds per game, and has 61 blocks on the year. Taleya Mayberry also scores in double figures with 12.1 ppg, and has a team-high 81 assists and 55 steals.
The Knights enter the game with an 8-15 overall record and a 5-9 league mark, and have won just one of their last four contests. Emma Cannon is averaging a double-double, posting 11.3 ppg and 10.6 rebounds per game, while owning a team-best 17 blocks on the year. Marshay White nets a team-leading 12.2 ppg, while Chelsie Wiley also scores double figures with 11.3 ppg. Aisha Patrick has registered 51 steals, and Angelica Mealing earns 3.8 assists per game.
This will be the fifth meeting between the two teams, with the series tied, 2-2. Neither team has lost on its home court.
