Tulsa's Larrissa Williams Signs Chicago Sky Training Camp Contract

Larrissa Williams earned 13 minutes of playing time in the Sky's 87-78 victory over the Minnesota Lynx in preseason action.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa women's basketball player Larrissa Williams signed a training camp contract with the Chicago Sky, one of 12 Women's National Basketball Association franchises.

Williams earned 13 minutes of playing time in the Sky's 87-78 victory over the Minnesota Lynx in preseason action. Williams had two points and one rebound in the contest.

The 2010 Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and first-team All-C-USA selection, Williams led the Golden Hurricane with 16.9 points per game and 9.0 rebounds per game. She also totaled 69 blocks on the season. Williams ranked first in the league in blocked shots (2.5), third in defensive rebounds (5.6), fourth in scoring (16.9) and rebounding (9.0), fifth in offensive rebounds (3.5), sixth in minutes played (32.0) and 14th in field goal percentage (.486).

Williams, a 6'3" forward from Little Rock, Ark., concluded her career as just one of seven players in Tulsa history to score more than 1,000 career points, as she finished her career with 1,512 points for second on the all-time list. She also ranked second in school history with 967 rebounds, 593 field goals, 208 blocked shots and 43 double-doubles, and was fourth with 326 free throws.
