Memphis to Host C-USA 2010 Men's Soccer Championship

The 2010 Conference USA Men's Soccer Championship will be hosted by the University of Memphis from Nov. 10-14 at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex.

Irving, Texas - The 2010 Conference USA Men's Soccer Championship will be hosted by the University of Memphis from Nov. 10-14 at the Mike Rose Soccer Complex, after a vote by the conference schools' athletics directors. The five-day event will feature the top six teams from regular season competition.

With the top two seeds receiving first-round byes, the tournament will kick off on Wednesday, Nov. 10, as the Nos. 3-6 teams play for a chance to participate in the semifinals on Nov. 12. The final match of the championship will take place at 1 p.m. CT on Sunday, Nov. 14, and will be aired live on CBS College Sports.

In selecting Memphis as this year's host site, the Championships Site Selection and Scheduling Committee noted the quality of the Mike Rose Soccer Complex and the informal support of the coaches.

In the same vote to award Memphis the 2010 Championship, Tulsa was also voted to host the 2011 Championship, with the program's historical strength and quality facilities acting as supporting points.
