Women's Golf Opens Season at Susie Maxwell Berning Classic

TULSA, Okla. - The University of Tulsa women's golf team opens the 2010-11 season at the 32nd Susie Maxwell Berning Classic this weekend, Sept. 24-26, at the par-72 Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club in Norman, Okla.

The Golden Hurricane will face off against No. 13 Oklahoma, No. 14 Ole Miss, Arkansas, Middle Tennessee State, Oklahoma City University, Redlands Community College and Texas State. Live stats for the tournament are available via Golfstat here.

Freshman Nanna Nielsen tees off Round 1 for TU, at 9:50 a.m., followed by freshman Charlotte Brooks at 10:00, junior Kamryn Ruffin at 10:10, junior Sarah Elliot at 10:20, junior Marita Engzelius at 10:30 and sophomore Kristina Merkle at 10:40.

Rounds two and three will begin by shotgun start at 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
