Women's Golf to Compete at Windy City Collegiate Classic

TULSA, Okla. - The Tulsa women's golf team will compete at the Windy City Collegiate Classic Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 3-4, at the par-72, 6,333-yard Glen View Golf Club in Golf, Ill.

The Golden Hurricane is coming off a third-place finish at the Golfweek Conference Challenge two weeks ago. Junior Kristina Merkle tied for second at the prestigious tournament, and has won the last two C-USA Women's Golfer of the Week awards.

TU will be represented in the field by Merkle, seniors Marita Engzelius, Kamryn Ruffin-Cunningham and Sarah Elliot, and sophomore Kayla Reide.

Tulsa is joined in the field by the host Northwestern, Arizona, Iowa State, Kent State, New Mexico, Ohio State, Oklahoma State, Purdue, TCU, Texas, Texas Tech, UC Davis, UNC Wilmington and Wake Forest.
