Tulsa Women's Hoops Host UCF on Sunday

Tulsa, Oklahoma - The University of Tulsa women's basketball team will host UCF on Sunday, February 6th, beginning at 1:05 p.m. at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for youth (12 and under).
The Golden Hurricane has a 5-10 overall record this season and a 1-6 mark in Conference USA. Taleya Mayberry has a team-leading 16.3 points per game, as well as 51 assists and 49 steals, and ranks first in steals (3.3), third in scoring, seventh in minutes played (32.9) and 11th in assists (3.4) among the league's best. Freshmen Amanda Mason and Loren McDaniel are averaging 8.7 ppg and 7.9 ppg, respectively. Denise Lewis pulls down a team-best 6.5 rebounds per game, while McDaniel has eight blocks.
Tulsa ranks among the top-100 among all NCAA Division I schools in two categories this season, including No. 16 in steals per game (12.5) and No. 41 in turnover margin (3.8). Individually, Mayberry is eighth in steals per game (3.3) and 93rd in points per game (16.3).
UCF is off to an 11-10 start this season, including a 4-4 mark in C-USA, but have lost their last two contests. The Knights are led by four players scoring double-digit points, including D'Nay Daniels (14.7), Chelsie Wiley (13.8), Aisha Patrick (10.4) and Jelisa Caldwell (10.0). Patrick has a team-best 8.0 rebounds per game, as well as 81 assists and 58 steals.
This will be the sixth meeting between the Golden Hurricane and the Knights on the women's basketball court, as UCF has a 3-2 advantage in the all-time series, including wins in the last two meetings.
