Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. - The University of Tulsa men's golf team recorded an eighth-place finish at the John Hayt Collegiate Invitational at the Sawgrass Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. TU carded a 292 in today's third round to finish with a 26-over par 890.

Golden Hurricane sophomore Chris Worrell earned a team-best 218 after carding a 74 in today's third round to finish 11th overall. Arie Fauzi put together his best round of the tournament as he carded a 70 today for a 220 total and a 17th-place finish, while Johannes Veerman was four strokes back in 31st place. John Young Kim and Stephen Carney were 56th and 78th, respectively.

Seventeenth-ranked Arkansas claimed the team title with a three-over par 867, two strokes ahead of 11th-ranked Auburn (869). Ninth-ranked LSU (871), UCF (879) and Tennessee (882) rounded out the top-five teams.

Florida's Phillip Choi captured the individual title with a seven-under par, three-round 209 total.

Tulsa will return to action at the Louisiana Classic, March 7-8, in Lafayette, La.
