Justin Chavez was selected as a College Soccer News Preseason All-America second team honoree.

Tulsa, Oklahoma - Tulsa men's soccer player Justin Chavez was selected as a College Soccer News Preseason All-America second team honoree, as announced today by the same publication.

Chavez, a senior defender from Edmond, Okla., has started 63 of 64 contests, netted five goals and four assists for 14 points, and has helped TU post 22 shutouts during his career. He was named as the Conference USA Preseason Defensive Player of the Year earlier this week, and is a two-time all-C-USA performer.
