TULSA, Okla. - Welcome to the 2013 USTA/ITA Men's Central Region Tennis Championships Tournament Central. Over a span of six days, we will find out who the best players are from all over the Midwest.
The annual event is taking place from Oct. 17-21 at Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa, Okla., and is being hosted by The University of Tulsa. The Case Tennis Center, one of the most prestigious tennis facilities in the entire country, was completed in December 2001.
This will be the ninth time since then the opening of the facility that the men's central region championship will have been in held in Tulsa (2002, '03, '04, '05, '06, '07, '09, '11, '13).
This page will be your home for round-the-clock coverage throughout the tournament, including updated brackets and results, live stats/video and more.
The tournament features nearly 120 of the best and brightest men's tennis players from across the Central Region. There will be 15 universities represented in this year's edition of the Central Region Championship.
The men's tournament starts Oct. 17 with a pre-qualifying round and two rounds of qualifying, and the Main Draw will run from Oct. 18-21.
All 18 courts (12 outdoor, six indoor) will be utilized for the opening rounds of the tournament. The latter stages of the tournament, beginning with the Round of 16 for each draw, will be held strictly indoors.
The Central Region champions will all earn automatic bids to the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships Nov. 7-11 in Flushing Meadows, N.Y.
