Tulsa, Oklahoma - The Tulsa women's basketball team will play 13 games that will be broadcast live on either television or internet, as announced today by the American Athletic Conference. The Hurricane will play six games on the American Digital Network, five games on ESPN3 and two games on SportsNet New York (SNY).
"We knew that moving into the American Athletic Conference was going to give us more television exposure, thereby putting us on more of a national platform," Head Coach Matilda Mossman said. "However, I was not prepared for how many actual games our fans, supporters and recruits will have access to. This is a huge step forward for our program."
Home games vs. Cincinnati (Dec. 31), Memphis (Jan. 10) and East Carolina (Jan. 14), and road contests against Tulane (Jan. 20), USF (Feb. 18) and Memphis (Feb. 24) will be broadcast on the American Digital Network. Games on the American Digital Network can be seen live at theamerican.org/watch for free.
ESPN3 will feature a home contest against UCF (Jan. 31), as well as road games at East Carolina (Jan. 24), Houston (Feb. 7), SMU (Feb. 14) and Cincinnati (March 2). Games on ESPN3 are viewed for free by logging onto ESPN3 with your username and password provided by your high-speed internet and/or affiliated cable service provider.
