Tulsa Women's Basketball Team Hosts Lamar on Monday

Game Notes vs. Lamar 
The Tulsa women's basketball team returns to action on Monday, November 17, against Lamar, beginning at 6:00 pm at the Donald W. Reynolds Center. The Tulsa-Lamar game is the first in a double-header with the Tulsa-Creighton men's basketball game set to begin at approximately 8:30 pm.
The Golden Hurricane dropped a 69-66 decision to Northern Iowa in their season opener last Friday night at the Reynolds Center. Senior Mariah Turner posted a double-double with 24 points and 10 rebounds, while classmate Kadan Brady was second in both categories with 11 points and eight rebounds.
Lamar dropped a 75-55 decision to Louisiana Lafayette in their season opener last week. The Lady Cardinals were led by Dominique Edwards with 20 points, Baileigh O'Dell with 12 points and Kiandra Bowers with 11 points. Laka Blache pulled down eight rebounds and had two blocks in their only contest.
The series between Tulsa and Lamar is tied, 1-1, with both teams losing on their home court. The Hurricane picked up a 68-67 win last season in Beaumont, Texas, while the Cardinals earned an 81-70 decision in the 1983-84 season.
