Tulsa Women Golfers Place 9th at C-USA Championships

Gulf Shores, Alabama - The Tulsa women's golf team finished in ninth place at the Conference USA Women's Golf Championships on Tuesday. The Golden Hurricane carded a final round 303 to finish with a total score of 916 at the par-72 The Peninsula Golf & Racquet Club.
Tulane led from start to finish to grab the C-USA team title with a final score of eight-under par 856, as the Green Wave had three golfers place among the top-5 individually. UTSA finished in second place at 866, Middle Tennessee (879) placed third, while Old Dominion and FIU (881) rounded out the top-five teams in fifth place.
Von Wnuck placed 21st with a 3-day total of six-over par 222 after turning in a round of 75 on Tuesday. Franziska Voellinger placed 40th overall with a score of 230, after carding a score of 79 today.
Tulsa freshman Nadia Majidizadeh carded Tulsa's best round today with a one-under par 71 to finish in 48th place with a 234 total.
Karson Bizzell finished in 53rd place with a 239 score, while Kayla Riede placed 58th for the Hurricane with a score of 244.
