Men's Tennis Completes Day One of Napa Valley Classic

Napa Valley, Calif. - Or Ram-Harel topped Stanford's Anthony Tsodikov (6-4, 6-3) in his opening match of the 2014 Porsche Napa Valley Tennis Classic to lead the University of Tulsa men's tennis team through day of round-robin play.
In the other Hurricane singles matches, Alejandro Espejo dropped a three-set match after coming back and taking the second (5-7, 6-3, 1-6) to North Carolina's Brett Clark.
Later in the morning, Dylan McCloskey fell in straight sets to Harvard's Nicky Hu (7-5, 6-2), while Carlos Bautista also fell short, losing to Stanford's Robert Stineman (6-0, 6-3).
In doubles play, Ram-Harel and Espejo dropped a close battle to the California duo of Gregory Bayane and Andre Goransson, 8-5.
The other Hurricane duo, McCloskey and Bautista, dropped their first doubles match against UNC's Jack Murray and Ronnie Schneider, 8-3.
Day two will begin at 12:30 CT as Ram-Harel takes on Harvard's Tao and Alejandro Espejo will face off against California's Hasier Pastor.
