Men's Tennis Takes Two Against Arkansas-Pine Bluff

TULSA, Okla. - The #37 University of Tulsa men's tennis team took two matches in Friday's doubleheader against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 4-0 and 5-0, at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Hurricane moves to 6-2 on the year.
The first match consisted of just singles matches, where TU's No. 2, 3, 4, 5 positions earned the points to propel the Hurricane to the win.
In the second match, the duo of Matthew Kirby and Daniel Santos and Chase Gordon and Carlos Bautista gave the Hurricane the point after doubles play.
Singles play saw a similar result as the first match, as TU took four matches in straight sets to earn the doubleheader sweep against the Golden Lions.
The Golden Hurricane will finish up its day, with a showdown against the Wichita State Shockers at 7:00 p.m.
