Women's Golf Begins American Athletic Conference Championship Sunday

PALM COAST, Fla. - Tulsa heads to the American Athletic Conference Champion¬ship in Palm Coast, Fla. April 19-21. The championship is being hosted by the Hammock Beach Golf & Spa Resort. The women will take on the par-71 Ocean Course designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The Hurricane will take on UCF, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Houston, Memphis, USF, SMU and Tulane for top conference honors.

This is the 22nd conference tournament in the history of Tulsa Women's Golf and just the first as a member of the American. Tulsa has won a total of 12 league titles in school history since joining its first conference in 1994. Tulsa won three of three Mis¬souri Valley Conference crowns, seven of nine Western Athletic Conference championships an two Conference USA titles.
