The Tulsa women's golf team carded a score of 296 in the final round of action at the Ole Miss Intercollegiate on Sunday, their best 18-hole score of the tournament. The Hurricane women finished in 15th-place at the par-72 Ole Miss Golf Course with a three-round total of 912.
Sophomore Nadia Majidizadeh came into the clubhouse Sunday with a 73, putting her three-round total at 224 and a share of 32nd-place. Chanya Angwerewong had the best performance of any Tulsa golfer on Sunday, shooting an even-par 72, she finished with 234 total. Antonia Von Wnuck finished with 228 and seniors Franziska Voellinger and Alex Haun totaled 230 and 236 respectively.
Texas A&M finished atop the team leader board after carding 281 in the third round of competition and finished with a total of 858 (-6). Kent State (861), Tennessee (869), Furman (875) and Fresno State (877) rounded out the top-five.
Kent State's Josee Doyon scored a eight-under par 208 to finish with individual medalist honors.
Next up for Tulsa is a trip to the 2015 SMU Dallas Athletic Club Invitational April 11-12.
