Tulsa Golfer Alex Haun Wins Arizona Women’s Amateur Stroke Play Title

The University of Tulsa golfer Alex Haun captured the 2015 Arizona Women's Amateur Stroke Play Championship at the Phoenix Country Club Wednesday, carding a score of 219. She turned in rounds of 74-73-72 to claim the title.
 
Haun is a 5'9" senior golfer on the Golden Hurricane women's golf team. She has played in 17 career tournaments since transferring to Tulsa from Mesa Community College prior to the 2012-13 season.
 
The Tulsa women's golf team begins tournament play Sept. 19-21 at the Schooner Fall Classic at the Belmar Golf Course in Norman, Oklahoma.
