Tulsa Men's Tennis to Begin Play at ITA Regionals in Stillwater

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa Men's Tennis team is set to begin play at the ITA Central Region Championship Presented by Oracle in Stillwater, Okla. beginning this morning with singles play in the round of 128. The Hurricane will have seven individual athletes competing along with four doubles pairs.
Okkie Kellerman is slated to take on Nebraska's Tomislav Antoljak in the first round of 128 match for the Hurricane. Chase Gordon follows by taking on Alex Wordword of Nebraska-Omaha while Mitchell Pritchard will face Iowa's Robin Haden. Francois Kellerman will battle UMKC's Daniel Isadifar, followed by Dominic Bechard's match against Minnesota's Justyn Levin and Daniel Santos' match against Emerson Styles of South Dakota State.
Preseason No. 112 Majed Kilani earned an opening round bye and will take on either Colin Buckley of Nebraska-Omaha or Nebraska's Chris Dean in the round of 64.
Doubles play in the round of 64 will begin for the Hurricane when Bechard/Kilani are paired together for the first time this fall when they take on Saint Louis' David Ferragut and Juan Calero. The duo of Pritchard/Gordon is slated to begin play against SDSU's Styles and Jonny Higham before Jarod Hing and Santos take on UMKC's Isadifar and Vinh Pham.
Okkie Kellerman and Francois Kellerman will pair up in the round of 32 as they secured a first round bye.
Play at the ITA Regionals will continue tomorrow and through the weekend, wrapping up on Sunday, Oct. 24.
