Tulsa’s Matthew Puig Named The American Rookie of the Week

Tulsa's Matthew Puig was named this week's American Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week, as announced today by the league office.

Puig, a freshman forward from Edmond, Okla., scored the game-winning goal to give Tulsa second place in The American with a 3-1 win over Cincinnati last week. He had three shots, all of which were on goal, and played 87 minutes of the contest.

This was Puig's second selection as Rookie of the Week as he also picked up the honor on October 17.
