The Tulsa Varsity 4+ was named as the American Athletic Conference Boat of the Week, as announced today by the league office.  This was TU's first Boat of the Week honor this season.

The Varsity 4+ earned a silver medal last week at the Knecht Cup on Lake Mercer in West Windsor Township, N.J.  Eva Trabucco, Skylar Luttjehuizen, Lauren Turner, Jasmine Leheta and Taylah Eder raced the Varsity 4+ to a time of 7:44.40, six seconds behind the Stanford Lightweight boat which took first place in a time of 7:38.32.  Tulsa finished ahead of North Carolina, Temple, Holy Cross and UMass in the race.  The Golden Hurricane finished first in their Heat (7:42.08) and Semifinal (7:50.56) to advance to the Grand Final.

Tulsa will return to action at the Lawless Cup, which will feature SMU, Alabama and Central Oklahoma, on Friday, April 21 at the White Rock Lake & Boathouse in Dallas, Texas.
