SARASOTA, Fla. — The Tulsa rowing team wrapped up the action Saturday at Nathan Benderson Park's Sarasota 2K on Saturday, gaining valuable racing experience against ranked programs in one of the biggest collegiate regattas in the country.

The Golden Hurricane's four boats all placed third or fourth in Friday's qualifying races to advance to Saturday's Final B races.

TU's top finish during Saturday's finals came from the 1v8+ boat, which placed third in the 1v8 Final B at 7:03.75. It was coxed by senior Bri Gfroerer and driven by Darya Vyrupayeva, Hannah Elsobky, Emily Bell, Seraina Hatt, Danielle Winter, Cara Brignull, Steffi Brewer, Letizia Susenna.

Tulsa's next regatta will be the Lake Wheeler Invitational in North Carolina, slated for April 24-25.
