Ram-Harel and Kilani Named to The American All-Conference Teams

TULSA, Okla. – Or Ram-Harel and Majed Kilani of The University of Tulsa Men's Tennis team were named to the American Athletic All-Conference Doubles Team while Ram-Harel earned his third singles all-conference nod.
The Tulsa duo finished the 2017 campaign ranked No. 60 by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association after posting a 13-6 record in doubles dual play. Ram-Harel and Kilani climbed as high as No. 40 in the rankings and defeated two top-30 opponents in No. 8-ranked Victor Pham/Richard Pham of Columbia and No. 29-ranked Juan Benitez/Will Little of Baylor. The pair is the first doubles all-conference team for Tulsa since joining The American.
In addition to his doubles honor, Ram-Harel was named to The American All-Conference Singles Team for the third time in his career as his ITA ranking currently stands at No. 34. The senior faced 13 nationally ranked opponents in his 2016-17 campaign, picking up wins over No. 16 Wayne Montgomery of Georgia, No. 6 Christian Sigsgaard of Texas and No. 21 Spencer Papa of Oklahoma. Ram-Harel climbed as high as No. 23 in the singles rankings on February 8 en route to his third straight NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship appearance.
Ram-Harel will represent the Hurricane in the singles tournament to be played in Athens, Ga. on May 24-29 at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex.
