Or Ram-Harel Nets Runner-Up at the USA F27 Futures

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Former University of Tulsa men's tennis team member Or Ram-Harel, who graduated this past may finished as the runner-up in the USA F27 Futures Pro Circuit event.
En route to the championship match, Ram-Harel knocked off the No. 1 seed Nicolaas Scholtz in the opening round in three sets (7-6(3), 7-6(2), 6-3). In the second round of the tournament, Ram-Harel defeated Christopher Haworth in three sets (6-4, 1-6, 6-3). He needed just two sets (6-3, 6-3) to beat the No. 6 seed Harry Bourchier in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, Ram-Harel was on the winning end of a three-set match once again against Hunter Callahan (6-3, 1-6, 6-3).
Ram-Harel faced Gustav Hansson in the finals of the tournament. The last time these two met in a finals match at the Messika Open in 2011, Ram-Harel came out victorious. This time, Ram-Harel came up just a short of the title, as Hansson defeated him in two sets (6-1, 6-2).
