Goodger then found himself locked in another tight match with Murkel Dellien of Wichita State. The England native battled, but fell to Dellien in the quarterfinals, 6-4, 6-2.

In doubles, Boriss Kamdem and Tom Thelwall-Jones faced off with Toby Boyer and Micah Klousia of Nebraska. The Tulsa duo found its stride late, but dropped its quarterfinal match, 8-5.
