The Tulsa rowing team welcomed six walk-on student-athletes to the team this season in Marguerite Averill, Cloee Graham, Chloe Henderson, Anna Pope, Bailey Salyer and Aryial Washington. "We are really excited to have the walk-ons join our program," Assistant Coach and Coordinator of Rowing Operations Michelle Goodwin said. "They worked really hard throughout the tryout process to earn a spot on our team. It is really exciting to be in a sport where you can have an athlete with no previous rowing experience come in and be able to work hard, learn, and excel in the sport. We have a few members of the team now who were walk-ons and are making this team faster, and we are sure this group will do the same as they continue to learn and grow as rowers." The walk-ons include three individuals from Oklahoma, including Averill who is a political science major from Skiatook, Graham who is an energy management major from Sulphur, and Pope who is an arts and sciences major from Oklahoma City. Salyer and Washington are from Texas and majoring in nursing and business, respectively, while Henderson is from Missouri and is studying chemistry.
