Tulsa Travels to Texas for Two Matchups Against Ranked Teams

TULSA, Okla. – The Tulsa men's tennis team takes to the road for two matches this weekend. The first match is against No. 24 Baylor on Friday, March 23, at 4 p.m., followed by a match against No. 12 Texas on Sunday, March 25, at 1 p.m.

Joshua Goodger and Majed Kilani remained ranked in the top-125 in the latest ITA rankings. Goodger is ranked No. 81, while Kilani moved up two spots to the No. 116 ranking.

Baylor is led by the No. 39 ranked Johannes Schretter and Bjoern Peterson at the No. 63 ranking. The Bears have three doubles teams ranked, Schretter and Will Little ranked No. 6, Akos Kotorman and Constantin Frantzen ranked No. 38, and Peterson and Jimmy Bendeck ranked No. 62.

The Golden Hurricane defeated the Longhorns last season, 4-3. Yuya Ito, the No. 60 ranked singles player, leads Texas. Harrison Scott is ranked No. 70, Leonardo Telles is ranked No. 89, and Christian Sigsgaard in ranked No. 110. Telles and Rodrigo Banzer are the No. 4 ranked doubles team.
