
Tulsa Women Golfers in 6th Place at John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate

STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. – The Tulsa women's golf team is in 6th place following opening round action at the John Kirk/Panther Intercollegiate Sunday. The Golden Hurricane scored a round of 310 at the par-72 Eagles Landing Country Club.
Three Hurricane golfers – Olivia Jackson, Anneke Strobach and Nicole Marquardt – each scored rounds of 77 to tie for 19th place. Johanna Samuelsson is two shots back in 30th place after today's round of 79.
Jacksonville leads the 17-team field with a first round score of 299, while Winthrop's Ashley Sloup's one-under 71 leads the individual field.
Second round action takes place on Monday with the final 18 holes being played on Tuesday.
