
Tulsa’s Kilani and Goodger Ranked in Preseason Oracle/ITA Rankings

TEMPE, Ariz. – University of Tulsa men's tennis standouts Majed Kilani and Joshua Goodger were ranked 39 and 55, respectively, in the 2018-19 Intercollegiate Tennis Association preseason singles rankings, the organization announced on Tuesday.
Kilani finds himself among the nation's top-40 after recording a 25-9 overall record in singles play and 11-17 mark in doubles action. After finishing the season ranked No. 74 by the ITA, the senior earned all-conference honors for the second time in his career.
Goodger, the reigning American Athletic Conference Freshman of the Year, also finds himself among the NCAA's best. He recorded 24 wins in singles play, defeating four ranked opponents in his first season at TU.
Goodger and his doubles partner, Jarod Hing, also earned a No. 57 ranking among the best national doubles tandems in the country.
Fall action for head coach Vince Westbrook's squad resumes on Sept. 20-23 for the Golden Hurricane, as they travel to Malibu, California, to take part in the Oracle/ITA Masters.
