Tulsa Men’s Tennis to Host Mercer in Midweek Match

TULSA, Okla. – The University of Tulsa men's tennis team (1-1) returns to action on Tuesday, hosting the Mercer Bears (1-1) at noon CT inside the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The Bears come into Tuesday after splitting their opening day, taking down Florida A&M 4-0, but falling to No. 20 Florida State 7-0. A season ago, the team posted a 16-7 overall record, including a 5-1 Southern Conference mark.
The Golden Hurricane is also coming off a split opening day this past Friday, taking down Bryant 7-0, but falling to Texas Tech in the nightcap, 4-3. In the Bryant match, senior Majed Kilani managed a 6-4, 2-6, 6-1 victory over No. 81 Matt Kuhar for his first ranked win of the season.
Following the Mercer match will be a Friday night faceoff with No. 14 TCU, with first serve scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
