TEMPE, Ariz. – University of Tulsa men's tennis senior Majed Kilani was slotted inside the Oracle ITA singles top-100 at No. 84, the organization has announced on Wednesday.
The senior Tunisia native is the lone Golden Hurricane ranked in singles and doubles. Kilani already has a ranked win under his belt in the dual season, along with a 5-2 mark at the No. 1 position for Tulsa.
The Golden Hurricane, ranked 34th as a team, boasts a 9-4 record thus far into the dual season. Already facing off with two top-15 teams this season, TU will get another stiff test traveling to Tulsa on Saturday, when No. 11 ranked Baylor (9-2) will take the courts inside Case at 6 p.m. CT.
The team's biggest victory thus far into the season came over No. 14 TCU, as Tulsa took down the Horned Frogs, 4-2, inside the Case Tennis Center. The win marked the first against TCU since 2014, and the highest ranked win for head coach Vince Westbrook's squad since a 2017 victory over No. 4 Texas.
