Tulsa Golfers Go West for the Juli Inkster Invitational

Fairfax, Calif. – The Tulsa women's golf team returns to the golf course this week for the 2019 Juli Inkster Invitational to be played at the par-72, 6,157-yard Meadow Club on Monday and Tuesday.
Tulsa last played nearly a month ago when the Hurricane claimed a third-place finish at the end of February in the 49-team Kiawah Island Classic.
Tulsa is joined in the 12-team field by Boise State, Cal State Fullerton, California, Minnesota, Nevada, Pepperdine, Rutgers, Sacramento State, Washington State and co-hosts San Francisco and San Jose State.
The Hurricane goes into the Juli Inkster Invitational with the 5-player team of senior Johanna Samuelsson, sophomore Taylor Dobson and a trio of freshmen – Lorena Tseng, ShaeLee Scarberry and Sammy Liu. Another freshman, Jasmine Zhang, will play in the event as an individual.
Tulsa freshman sensation Tseng has finished among the top-10 in six of seven tournaments this season and has a 71.2 stroke average.
The first and second rounds will be played Monday with a shotgun start beginning at 8:15 am (PT)/6:15 am (CT).
