FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The University of Tulsa track and field team will head back to John McDonnell Field for the aptly-named John McDonnell Invitational, set to compete on Thursday and Friday in Arkansas.

The Golden Hurricane will send 37 (18 men, 19 women) athletes to Fayetteville for the two-day meet.

The meet will begin Thursday with the men's and women's hammer throw and multi-events. Tulsa will enter throwers Baylor Reese and Aleks Rapp in the hammer throw, set to start at 3:30 p.m. (women) and 5:30 p.m. (men) CT, respectively.

On Friday, field events will begin at 12:20 p.m. CT, while the track events will kick off at 4:15 p.m. CT with the 3,000-meter steeplechase. As customary, the 4x400-meter relays will conclude the meet, set for 8:25 p.m. (men's) and 8:35 p.m. (women's), respectively.

Live results will be available for the John McDonnell Invitational via Flash Results here. The meet will be streamed live on SEC Network+ with available subscription here.

In the team's last time out, Tulsa split for three meets, completing showings at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, Stanford Invitational and ORU Invitational. Caitlin Klopfer made the biggest splash, running the No. 2 time in school history in the 10,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational, taking ninth in a massive 33:51.85 PR.
